Climate change is enlarging deserts and is threatens world food supply

Spreading deserts and degradation of farm land due to climate change will pose a serious threat to food supplies for the world’s surging population in coming years, a senior United Nations scientist warned on Friday.

    A better title would perhaps be: Recently published paper of the long-term effects on climate by CO2. I’m not sure why this is getting framed as a delay in the next ice age. To me, any hysteresis is cool almost by definition.

    That higher up the food chain argument does not seem to apply to grassfed beef adn pother pastured farming. Such practives can actually build up grass diversity as they consume renewable energy that would not otherwise get consumed.
